Pakistan Study Centre is one of the Pakistan’s leading research-focused higher education institutions. With 250 students, 45 staff, we are growing as an institution of advance research.

We teach and research across a wide range of subjects in the field of Pakistan Studies. We are based in creative and culturally diverse area of Jamshoro near the river Indus. PSC offers excellent accommodation as well as learning environment.

University of Sindh

Pakistan Study Centre is a part of the internationally recognized University of Sindh. PSC strictly implement the policies of the university of Sindh which is ISO certified (ISO 9001:2015)

Pakistan Study Centre students are able to use a host of University of Sindh facilities including the Central Library, Institute of Sindhology Library, Digital Library where you can access thousands of books and journals. In addition, Pakistan Study Centre students can have access to electronic sources via University of Sindh.

Vision and Mission

The Pakistan Study Centre is established under the Act of Parliament 1976. The Centre is engaged in the study of languages, literatures, social structures, customs, attitudes and motivation of people of various regions of Pakistan. Its mission is to work with strong commitment to knowledge dissemination through quality education and provision of high-quality courses to cohorts of students wishing to expand their skills at all levels. The Centre also strives to improve its stature as an institution of broadly-based research. The Centre’s mission is to further improve the quality of research through innovative way of creating new knowledge. It is putting forth the best of its efforts and potential to explore the political and socio-economic aspects of various issues faced by world community in general and Pakistan in particular.
