Pakistan Vision 2025 recognizes the fact that knowledge has become the key driving force for socio-economic development in the globalized world. Pakistan Study Centre, University of Sindh is established under the Act of Parliament 1976. The Centre is engaged in the study of languages, literatures, social structures, customs, attitudes and motivation of people of various regions of Pakistan. The centre currently offers the BS, MA, M Phil and PhD degree courses in the discipline of Pakistan Studies.
Currently Pakistan Study Centre strives to improve its stature as an institution of broadly-based research which has improved enormously mainly because of innovative ways of managing new change in teaching and research. The Centre is firmly positioned within the higher education institutions of Pakistan which have shown strong commitment to knowledge dissemination through quality education, provision of high-quality courses to cohorts of students wishing to expand their skills at all levels.
